Keith Ferrel is one of the founders of Cactus Imaging. Starting in New Zealand in 1992 Cactus Imaging has now become known throughout the world as one of the leading Grand Format Production Companies.
After one year in Auckland New Zealand, Keith moved to Sydney Australia to set up the sales arm of Cactus Imaging Australia. It proved so successful that in 1996 Cactus Imaging set up a full-scale production plant in Sydney which is now recognized as one of the leading grand format production companies.
In 2000 Keith was appointed as the Group Sales Director and later General Manager. He was one of the drivers in setting up Cactus Imaging India based in Chennai. He has traveled extensively throughout Asia and the Middle East and is often called upon to speak internationally.
Keith has served on the HP Customer Advisory Board and is also the Asia Pacific/Japan Past Chairman of the Board of Directors for Dcsoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative). In January 2016 Keith was elected to the Dscoop Global Board. He is currently on the Dscoop Asia Pacific / Japan board and is also on the Fespa Australia board.

With a Diploma in Business Management and a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, Wal is a qualified tradesman and expert signwriter working towards a QBBC license for Sign Structures.
He possesses strong skills in sign design and signage standards. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Wal ensures that every sign not only presents professionally but also complies with all relevant regulations.
Luke
A qualified tradesman signwriter, Luke Jones completed the Deloitte CEO Masterclass in 2021 and participated in the Entrepreneur Programme in 2020.
He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Townsville Sunrise. With extensive knowledge and experience in the planning, manufacture, and installation of signage projects, Luke brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a director, ensuring excellence in every project.

A qualified tradesman signwriter, Luke Jones completed the Deloitte CEO Masterclass in 2021 and participated in the Entrepreneur Programme in 2020.
He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Townsville Sunrise. With extensive knowledge and experience in the planning, manufacture, and installation of signage projects, Luke brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a director, ensuring excellence in every project.

After developing one of Townsville’s leading sign businesses, Luke and Wal introduced manufacturing into their business portfolio when they started Townsville CNC which is a trade-based business supplying dedicated router and laser-produced product as well as a letter bending process to manufacture locally made LED 3D lettering.
Lamont was privileged to deliver the first Signage Business Conference at The Ville Resort in Townsville. Delegates in the signage industry from across Queensland enjoyed a range of powerful updates about the industry.
These topics included new technology and the opportunities that technological improvement brings, plus great solutions for common problems faced by those in the industry. This included both equipment and substrate developments – and what is the pipeline for the next 12 months.
Leadership and business development sessions were also very popular. The Conference was deemed a great success by all attendees and plans are already underway for next year’s event.
